My Backyard: Snow Days!

I don’t know about y’all but I can’t wait to get out and enjoy any and every snow day this winter.  I don’t loathe snow days, not even a little bit. Probably because I do tons of winter activities and very  little heavy-duty shoveling! But if you really want to survive a New England winter, you definitely need to get out and stay active. Otherwise, it’s going to be a long slow season full of bon-bons, really bad Lifetime movies and limited sunshine.

I’m excited to share some of the fun ways I get down with Old Man Winter and make it through the season.

Is the thermometer about to take a naughty nosedive where you live? How do you survive these blustery months? Tell me about it!

To the point post and awesome pics! Unfortunately, I always get stuck at my mother’s house shoveling her ever so long drive way then forced to watch HSN with her until she falls asleep. Once that’s over, a nice rooftop, with flawless city views and some Malbec is how I get through the winter days. And of course, heading to a warm destination is never a bad idea.

HAHAHAHAHA! You’re a pretty good son huh? I love me some Malbec, Argentinian over French. A group of us should plan some kind of winter getaway. Where to Mr.Vagabond?

Boston Public Garden is so pretty in the winter. I stroll through the park occasionally after work, and each time, I am gobsmacked by the beauty it holds.

It really is wondrous! I miss it so much. Next time you do stroll through, stop and sniff a rose for me!
